Terms of the My Nintendo Rewards Programme

1. The My Nintendo rewards programme is part of the Nintendo Account service offered by Nintendo Co., Ltd.
2. To participate, you must register a Nintendo Account and accept the Nintendo Account Agreement and the Nintendo Account Privacy Policy.
3. The My Nintendo rewards programme allows you to earn points by completing missions and to redeem the collected points for rewards.
3.1 Earn Points: Missions
Missions are special activities associated with your use of the Nintendo Account service, which Nintendo identifies as "Missions".
There are missions that you fulfil automatically by engaging in the respective activities. There may also be missions you have to actively accept as a "mission" first. You will be informed about the need to accept the mission and other details of the mission (for example, the expiration date of the mission or a deadline for collecting points after having completed the mission) in the mission description.
The missions may involve activities associated with the use of a Nintendo Network ID. In order to complete such missions, the respective activities must be performed using a Nintendo Network ID linked to your Nintendo Account.
Missions may change from time to time. The details and the availability of missions may vary depending on the country setting of your Nintendo Account. You can find the list of current missions applicable to you on the My Nintendo website after you sign in with your Nintendo Account.
3.2. Points
Upon the completion of a mission, you can receive My Nintendo points.
There are missions for which you receive My Nintendo points automatically. There may also be missions for which you have to actively collect My Nintendo points upon the completion of a mission. You will be informed about the need to collect points in the mission description.
The number of My Nintendo points that can be received for a mission is indicated in the mission description.
Nintendo may also provide additional options for receiving My Nintendo points (for example, registering a product through your Nintendo Account or being granted My Nintendo points as a gift by Nintendo). You will be informed about such options by appropriate means.
You can check the number of My Nintendo points you have collected on the My Nintendo website.
My Nintendo Platinum Points expire 6 months after you have collected them (to the end of a calendar month). My Nintendo Gold Points expire 12 months after you have collected them (to the end of a calendar month). When redeeming My Nintendo points for rewards, the points with the earlier expiry date will automatically be used first.
3.3 Redeem Points: Rewards
You can redeem the My Nintendo points you have collected for rewards.
Rewards may have special conditions for redeeming or using them. For example, the expiration date or the need to link the Nintendo Account to a Nintendo Network ID. You will be informed about the special conditions in the reward description.
Rewards may change from time to time. The list of current rewards is available on the My Nintendo website.
3.4 Digital Content as Rewards
If you redeem your My Nintendo points for a reward in the form of digital content, the licence for such digital content will be registered to your Nintendo Account for your personal and non-commercial use in the respective service or product. The digital content must not be used for any other purpose. In particular, without Nintendo's written consent, you must neither lease nor rent digital content, nor sublicense, publish, copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any portion of the digital content other than as expressly permitted by applicable law.
The digital content may be offered in the form of virtual items ("Virtual Items") capable of being exchanged for other digital items. Such Virtual Items are made available to you by Nintendo in the form of a licence (right) to trade or exchange for other digital items within the respective service or product. The Virtual Items as well as other digital items traded or exchanged for the Virtual Items can only be used within the respective service or product, cannot be transferred to a third party (unless a transfer is permitted within the respective service or product) and cannot be exchanged for legal tender or any item or right outside of the respective service of product.
3.5 Missions, points and rewards may vary depending on the country registered with the Nintendo Account. You will see the items available in your country after you sign in with your Nintendo Account.
4. Anything not described in these terms is governed by the Nintendo Account Agreement and the Nintendo Account Privacy Policy. For the use of a Nintendo Network ID, the acceptance of the Nintendo Network Agreement and the Nintendo Network Privacy Policy is required.
